Ariana

Ariana was a Tarellian encountered by the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. Like the rest of her people, Ariana was infected with a virulent plague as a result of a biological war.

Ariana developed a psychic connection with Wyatt Miller when the two were quite young, sharing dreams of each other, and leading both to paint images of their "fantasy" love. The two finally met in person in 2364, when the ship carrying Ariana and eight others attempted to make planetfall on Haven. Initially, Ariana appeared silently on the viewscreen, wearing a blue gown-like garment that was cropped at the chest, revealing her bare midriff and navel. When Captain Picard refused to allow their landing, Miller beamed aboard her ship, hoping to use his medical skills to develop a cure, and be with his true love. Ariana then departed Haven space together with Miller. (TNG: "Haven")
