The Argaya system was a star system located in Federation space directly near the Cardassian border.
In 2370, the USS Enterprise-D picked up Joret Dal, a Federation spy inside the Cardassian military, in this system. (TNG: "Lower Decks")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on the star chart United Federation of Planets III, the Argaya system's primary was a Class K star. It had a magnitude of +7, which was 1/10 as bright as Sol. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
