Ardra is, essentially, the Ventaxian culture's version of the devil. Her mythical evil qualities have led her to be compared to the human character of the Devil, or the mytho-historical Klingon avatar named Fek'lhr.
In 2367 she was impersonated by an interstellar con-artist. (TNG: "Devil's Due")
