Deletion has been suggested for this page according to the deletion policy. In the normal day-to-day operations of Memory Alpha, some pages are deleted for various reasons. This deletion suggestion and reasoning can be discussed on:
- Alpha Bootis (primary)
- Arcturus I
- Arcturus II
- Arcturus III
- Arcturus IV
- In the story outline for TOS: "The Cage", "a Class M planet in the Arcturus system" was said to be the origin of "the intelligent Lemur-life", examples of which were intended to constitute one of the captive species in that episode's menagerie. (The Making of Star Trek, p. 59)
- According to the non-canon novel The Entropy Effect, Arcturus was a mostly neutral territory almost exactly equidistant between Federation, Romulan, and Klingon space.
- In the novel The Lost Years, Leonard McCoy travels to a planet named Arcturus, outside the Federation in an unnamed star system. The planet was in a state of total anarchy, with individual property owners using shields around the perimeters of their lands for security.
- According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 44, this star was in the Alpha Quadrant. This system was a stop on the Vulcan trade routes in the 22nd century. Arcturus was a Federation system.
