Archible Ribble "Arch" Dalzell, also known as Archie Dalzell (13 September 191126 July 1992; age 80) was a cinematographer, who served as additional director of photography on the second season Star Trek: The Original Series episode, "Who Mourns for Adonais?", replacing regular cameraman Jerry Finnerman, who was unavailable for some reason. He was not credited for his work. [1]

Dalzell was a veteran director of photography on mostly television projects, which include such series as The Addams Family (starring Ted Cassidy), The Mod Squad (starring Tige Andrews and Clarence Williams III, produced by Harve Bennett), Starsky and Hutch (starring David Soul), Fantasy Island (starring Ricardo Montalban), and Murder, She Wrote (starring William Windom). He was also the director of photography on Gene Roddenberry's failed 1974 pilot, Planet Earth, which was directed by Marc Daniels, produced by Robert Justman, featured Ted Cassidy, Diana Muldaur, Majel Barrett, Craig Hundley and Patricia Smith in the cast, and costumes by William Ware Theiss.

Dalzell's few feature film credits mostly include exploitation B-movies, such as Roger Corman's 1967 cult film, The Trip (with Dick Miller), the cult 1960 science fiction movie, The Little Shop of Horrors, again produced and directed by Corman and featuring Miller, and titles like Women of the Prehistoric Planet (1966, with Irene Tsu, Robert Ito and Adam Roarke), Mutiny in Outer Space (1965) and the surfer flick, The Girls on the Beach (1965).
