An antiphoton pulse is a type of energy discharge which can be used to disrupt holographic activity.
In 2377, USS Voyager chief engineer B'Elanna Torres conceived the idea of reconfiguring the ship's deflector dish to emit an antiphoton pulse on a triaxilating bandwidth, in order to deactivate the holoemitter being used by Iden and his holographic crew.
After two hours of modifications, Torres was able to fire the pulse at Iden's ship, but Iden was able to counter the attack by reconfiguring the ship's tracking beam to the inverse frequency of the pulse. This created a feedback surge in the pulse which nearly caused Voyager to experience a warp core breach. (VOY: "Flesh and Blood")
