The antimatter storage system is a component of a starship used to safely contain antimatter.
The primary support braces of the antimatter storage system aboard Jem'Hadar battleships is comprised of viterium, which becomes unstable when subjected to delta radiation. The crew of the USS Valiant attempted to destroy a battleship by exploiting this flaw, but failed. (DS9: "Valiant")
