Antede III was the third planet of the Antede planetary system. The atmosphere was capable of supporting humanoid life-forms. This planet was the homeworld for a warp capable species, the Antedeans. It was located within three days travel of the planet Pacifica, and some of the inhabitants had antagonistic feelings for the Federation.

In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D was assigned to carry two delegates from Antede III to a conference on Pacifica, where their species would be offered Federation membership. The delegates turned out to be assassins. (TNG: "Manhunt")
