Andrew Kavovit as Kirby.

Andrew Kavovit (born July 19, 1971) is the actor who portrayed Kirby in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Nor the Battle to the Strong".

Kavovit is best known to soap opera fans for his Daytime Emmy-winning role as Paul Ryan on As the World Turns. He is also known for starring in the western series The Magnificent Seven alongside fellow Star Trek alumni Ron Perlman and Rick Worthy from 1998 through 2000.

He has also made appearances on such television shows as Full House, Married... with Children, Weird Science, NYPD Blue (starring Gordon Clapp and Sharon Lawrence), Touched by an Angel, and Joan of Arcadia. He was also seen in an episode of the short-lived series Courthouse, starring Bob Gunton and also guest-starring Dan Gauthier and Jacqueline Kim.

In 1995, Kavovit appeared with Star Trek: Enterprise guest actors Keith Carradine and Richard Riehle in the TV movie Trial by Fire and with Kenneth Tigar in another TV movie, The Great Mom Swap. The following year, he appeared in two TV movies with Cliff deYoung: Seduced by Madness: The Diane Borchardt Story (with Shay Astar, Barbara Tarbuck, and George D. Wallace) and Andersonville. And in 2000, Kavovit co-starred with Malcolm McDowell and Dey Young in The David Cassidy Story, in which Kavovit played the title role and McDowell played his father.

Kavovit has recently began transcending into feature films. The most reknown film he has appeared in thus far is the popular 2001 comedy Rat Race, starring Whoopi Goldberg and Lanei Chapman.
