In an alternate reality that branched off in 2233, Chekov's son, Pavel, was born in 2241. (Star Trek)
Andrei Chekov was never mentioned in dialog or scripts. His name is solely derived from the traditional Russian patronymic "Andreievich," first mentioned in "The Way to Eden".
According the non-canon video game Starship Creator, Andrei Dimitrievich Chekov was married to Larisa Chekov. He was also mentioned as Chekov's father in the 2002 novel Future Imperfect.
