Andre Tayir was the choreographer for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

Tayir was the choreographer for the films The Last of the Secret Agents? (1966, with Theodore Marcuse), Good Times (1967), and for the television series The Andy Williams Show (1969-1971). As an actor he appeared in the films West Side Story (1961, starring Richard Beymer), The Swinging Barmaids (1975, with Dyanne Thorne), Ravagers (1979, with Seymour Cassel), Elvis and the Beauty Queen (1981), and in an episode of The Facts of Life (1985). His characters were mostly small and dancing parts.
