The Andorian rifle was a hand-held plasma rifle utilized by the Andorian Imperial Guard. The plasma weapon fired plasma bursts and had no stun setting. Andorian rifles were extensively used during a war between Vulcan and the Andorian Empire over Paan Mokar. (ENT: "Cease Fire")
The energy discharges fired by an Andorian rifle were identified as plasma bursts in the script of "Cease Fire".
