Prior to stardate 2947, an Earth colony was established on this planet. The Tribunal of Alpha III wrote the Statutes of Alpha III. This was one of two inhabited planets that were colonized in this system; the other was Alpha V. (TOS: "Charlie X", "Court Martial")
