Alpha Carinae V was the homeworld of the Drella. This was the fifth planet in the Alpha Carinae system. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold"; Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country production art)
In the star chart "The Explored Galaxy", the star Alpha Carinae was positioned between the Tholian Assembly and Romulus. Both were identified in DS9: "Call to Arms" as being located in the Alpha Quadrant. According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (page 65), Alpha Carinae (Canopus V) was located in or near Federation space, in the Beta Quadrant.
