Alondra was the uninhabited third planet of the Pallas 14 system. (TAS: "One of Our Planets Is Missing") The location of the Pallas 14 system in the Milky Way Galaxy was depicted in the "The Explored Galaxy" star chart. (TNG: "Conspiracy", production art)

In 2269, the USS Enterprise attempted to intercept an unidentified cosmic cloud that had entered the system near Alondra. However, en route, the crew noticed Alondra disappear from sensors, only to observe that planet was engulfed and consumed by the cosmic cloud creature. (TAS: "One of Our Planets Is Missing")

In "The Explored Galaxy" star chart, the Pallas 14 system was located between the Tholian Assembly and Romulus. According to dialog in DS9: "Call to Arms", the two were Alpha Quadrant powers.
