Alex Nevil (born 25 January 1965; age 49) is the actor who played a male Menk in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Dear Doctor". He was more recently hired as a day player for a supporting role as a shuttle officer in 2009's Star Trek.

Nevil was born in Los Angeles, California and is the brother of singer and producer Robbie Nevil. He went to Junior High School and High School with Star Trek director and producer J.J. Abrams. He has been married to Allyson Nevil since 2001.

Nevil has appeared in several television series such as Cheers (1988, episodes Executive Sweet and One Happy Chappy in a Snappy Serape, alongside series regulars Kirstie Alley and Kelsey Grammer), Empty Nest (1992, episode Charley for President), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1994, episode Barbarians at the Planet, with series regulars Teri Hatcher and K Callan, and guest stars Patrick Kilpatrick, Chris Demetral, and Castulo Guerra), The Nanny (1995, episode Fran Gets Mugged, with Daniel Davis), 3rd Rock from the Sun (1997, episode Dick and the Single Girl), ER (2000, episode Abby Road), Crossing Jordan (2002, episode Crime & Punishment, with Miguel Ferrer, Jeff Kober, and Wallace Shawn), and Boston Legal (2006, episode Breast in Show, with series regulars William Shatner and Rene Auberjonois, and with Scott MacDonald).

He has also performed in several feature films such as Legal Eagles (1986, with David Clennon), Cabin Boy (1994, with Mike Starr), My Girl 2 (1994, with Gerrit Graham, Keone Young, Richard Beymer, Megan Butler, and Wendy Schaal), The Priests (2000) for which he also served as associate producer, and Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004, with the voice of Earl Boen).
