Lieutenant Alan Sims was a member of Starfleet in the 24th century.

In 2372, as a crewmember aboard the USS Voyager, he was named on a duty roster for the planetary geosciences division. (VOY: "Parturition")
Sims, who was listed on a piece of background artwork, was named for property master Alan Sims.
