Lieutenant Alan M. Kobayashi was a Starfleet officer during the Dominion War.
In 2374 and 2375, files from the starships USS Akagi, USS Tripoli and USS Victory, as well as the Allied Romulan vessel PWB Tomal, all reported Lieutenant Kobayashi missing in action. Kobayashi's name appeared on the casualty report display seen on a computer readout, on both a PADD and a viewscreen. It is unclear which assignment was his home station, if any.
He was apparently named for graphic artist Alan Kobayashi.
