Alan Gold is a comic book editor. During the time that DC Comics held the Star Trek license, he edited issues of both their Original Series and Next Generation titles between 1992 and 1994. Gold had taken over the line from Robert Greenberger and was eventually ousted due to infighting at DC concerning his position and role on the Star Trek line, and he was replaced by Margaret Clark.
