Born in Mayfield, Kentucky, Wyatt was also a stuntman on such Western television series as The Range Rider, Broken Arrow, and The Rifleman, as well as the campy 1960s Batman series. He also performed stunts on a number of western films throughout the 1950s and 60s. Additionally, he performed stunts for the 1948 Superman serial, as well as the films Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde (1953) and The Great Race (1965).

Wyatt died in Burbank, California at the age of 75.
