Al Cavens (1 October 1906 – 17 December 1985; age 79) was an actor who appeared once on Star Trek: The Original Series, playing the Second Fop in the episode "All Our Yesterdays". This was his last known acting role.
Hailing from Brussels, Cavens was the son of Hollywood fencing master Fred Cavens and was himself an expert at fencing. The two worked together on many films and television series until the elder Cavens' death in 1962.
Cavens has been seen in such films as 1953's The Robe (starring Jean Simmons and Jay Robinson and featuring Michael Ansara and Nicholas Coster) and 1956's Around the World in Eighty Days.
