Accurentum (also known as ununoctium or eka-radon) is a chemical element, number 118 on the periodic table, a transuranic element, member of the noble gases. This element was pictured on a periodic table in the ship's schoolroom aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG:"Rascals")
- In the present day, this element remains undiscovered, but has been assigned a temporary name, "ununoctium," by scientists. The chart in the schoolroom was a piece of background signage which contained numerous irregularities and in-jokes. It listed this element as "Ac," which conflicts with existing element actinium (number 89).
