Aberdeen is an Earth city in the north-east of Scotland. Aberdeen is also called The Granite City due to the large amount of granite buildings within the city. It is believed to be the birth place of Montgomery Scott, as he referred to himself once as an "old Aberdeen pub-crawler" as well as reminiscing about the "marvelous fogs we have in Aberdeen". - Rumor has it, however, that he could have been born in Dundee, Aberdeen's rival city some sixty miles away.
