The A.M.A. Journal (or American Medical Association Journal) was published in the United States of America in the mid-20th century. This journal was published monthly and was delivered through the mail to members of the American Medical Association. Among its contents were advertisements.

In Dangerous Games, Doctor John Rawley saw an advertisement for the sale of a country doctor's practice in Fairbridge, Massachusetts. This advertisement had been placed in the journal by Dr. Jenkins, who was retiring and planning to move to Arizona. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye")

The pages seen in the episode were from the mystery novel, Dangerous Ground, by author Frances Sil Wickware. This novel was published in 1946. Information on the A.M.A. Journal was from page 13.
