Events
- Due to the effects of Iverson's Disease, Admiral Mark Jameson is confined to a mobile chair. (TNG: "Too Short a Season")
- Mekor, the son of Dukat, is born. (DS9: "Defiant")
- Li Nalas is taken prisoner by the Cardassians. (DS9: "The Homecoming")
- Vreenak becomes a key member of the Romulan Senate. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")
- This information comes from a PADD seen in the episode.

- Data says it took him ten or twelve years to get through the Lieutenant grades, so he might have been promoted earlier in 2358.
Notes
According to the script of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Emissary", Jake Sisko's birth occurs in this year. This note, however, is contradicted by on-screen evidence shown in "The Abandoned" and "Rapture".
