• Picard participated in the Starfleet Academy marathon on Danula II and became the first freshman to ever win the marathon. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II")

• According to the Picard family album from Star Trek Generations, the marathon took place in April of this year.
• This year works out as the "zero point" for the stardate system used in Star Trek: The Next Generation. It is unknown if or how this system relates to the system used on Star Trek: The Original Series.
