The previous USS Enterprise of the alternate reality

According to Issue #2 of IDW's Countdown to Darkness series, the Enterprise had a predecessor in the alternate reality. This previous USS Enterprise at Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek works was decommissioned this year to make way for the launch of the new ship.
