Notes

The 2245 date for the Enterprise commissioning (sourced from Michael Okuda's Star Trek Chronology) is regarded as fairly definitive, despite clashing with Harry Morrow's rather odd Star Trek III comment of the vessel being 20 years old in 2285 (That comment is in itself faulty, as it precludes the 2250s voyages of Christopher Pike established in TOS: "The Menagerie"). The 2245 date is reckoned by using references to the length of Pike's command established in that episode, accounting for additional years for the ship to be commanded by April as established in his appearance.

Unused material for Jonathan Archer's bio seen in ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II" stated that he died this year, one day following the christening of the USS Enterprise.
