• July 23 - The Earth spaceship Charybdis, commanded by Colonel Stephen G. Richey, is launched as the third attempt to explore beyond the Sol system. (TNG: "The Royale")
• The Enterprise NX-01 from an alternate timeline emerges from a subspace corridor from the year 2154. So far back in time, the ship can do nothing but wait in the Delphic Expanse for a chance to find and destroy the first Xindi superweapon. The ship becomes a generational ship, trading for provisions and taking on alien crew to survive. By the time this NX-01 met up with the present day Enterprise, T'Pol was the only remaining original crew member still living. (ENT: "E²")
