• Shannon O'Donnell is born in the United States of America. Her descendants include Captain Kathryn Janeway. (VOY: "11:59")

• This era was requested by William T. Riker as the source of a holosimulation of the Bourbon Street Bar in New Orleans on Earth. (TNG: "11001001")

• Within the Bashir 62 holoprogram, Vic Fontaine, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra dropped $15,000 in a blackjack game at the Sands in Las Vegas, where Vic was playing. (DS9: "His Way")

• Scrapping of the Aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) begins.
