An ångström (symbol Å) is a unit of length equal to 10-10 meters, used principally to express the wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation. It is equivalent to 0.1 nanometer.
Comparative units of length
- While attempting to initialize the transporters aboard USS Voyager, Harry Kim aligned the confinement beam to 10 ångströms. (VOY: "Counterpoint")
